My Story
Hi! I’m Amanda, the hands behind Baked by Amanda, and I am so happy you’re here! I started making decorated sugar cookies in 2018 after I ordered some for an event I was having and they were not tasty. I knew I had a killer sugar cookie recipe, I just had to find a way to make the icing yummy too. I had used glaze icing in the past to decorate Christmas cookies but never to any degree of difficulty. So, off I set on an adventure to figure out how to make cookies that look as pretty as all the others I had seen online but still maintained my #1 goal which is amazing flavor. And that is when Baked by Amanda was born!
Now that I have figured out how to make super yummy cookies that are also cute, my goal is world domination with glaze icing. I want everyone to know that there is another option for decorating cute cookies besides just royal icing! Releasing my ebook with my sugar cookie recipe is step 1. I currently teach in person classes and my next step is to offer virtual classes so I can teach people all over the world how to use glaze icing! Stick around for lots more to come!

Incredible teacher!
Amanda’s cookies are so delicious and beautiful, and she is an incredible teacher! She is thoughtful in the way she teaches, and absolutely wants the best for whomever is learning from her. Taking her 1 on 1 class was very helpful for me to start making cookies on my own. I feel so much more confident because of all she’s taught me!

I'll never go back!
I’ve always loved the look of a perfectly decorated sugar cookie, but every time I bit into one, the frosting was a hard, tasteless crust. Then when I tried Amanda’s cookies, I knew that I would never go back to the traditional frosting. The glaze is SO much better. Amanda’s cookies are somehow even more delicious than they are visually beautiful. The cookie kits have also been hits with my kids and for parties. I’ve used her for client appreciating gifts, open houses, baby showers and other parties. I will always used Baked by Amanda and refer her to everyone I know.

My very favorite cookies
I’ve had a lot of decorated sugar cookies and Amanda’s are hands down the best. They’re so soft and chewy and flavorful! Amanda is so talented and helpful! The instructions are great and easy to follow! I’ll be making these for every holiday from now on!
